Lagos Today Extra! is birthed to provide premium and authoritative information on events and happenings in and around Lagos, using both grassroots and elitist news materials as a unique selling point. Its major focus is to keep Lagosians and indeed, all lovers of the city, abreast of events in and around the state – both in the suburbs and in the metropolis.
Bridging The Gap Between The Government And The Governed
A major objective of Lagos Today Extra! is to highlight achievements, challenges, prospects and opportunities in the various communities, wards, LCDAs and LGAs in the state through professional and objective reportage. Governance and infrastructure lapses are projected into social consciousness so that those in authority can get a better understanding of the peculiar needs of their constituencies and thus take governance more seriously at the various levels of governance in the state.
Lagos Today Extra! also highlights the various projects and government achievements being executed across the 57 council areas in the state and brings these to the notice of the public for a better scrutiny, appraisal and appreciation.

A Unique Organization
Lagos Today Extra! is the first general-interest publication in Nigeria to be completely owned, staffed and operated by PWDS (Persons With Disabilities). It is also one of the very few general-interest publications in the country to dedicate a full beat (PWDs Corner) to issues bothering disabilities and persons with disabilities.
Overall Mission
Our mission is to be the mouthpiece of both the governed an the government as we collectively strive to evolve a better and more sustainable Lagos for all.
