Lagos Today Extra!, your authoritative and premium grassroots news portal, www.lagostodayextra.com, is putting together a series of special spotlights on the first 100 days of the current LGA’s and LCDA’s chairmen in Lagos state.
The report will be presented in the form of individual spotlights on each LGA and LCDA across the state. It will basically focus on the achievements recorded so far by each chairman within the first 100 days in office in terms of project initiations and executions. The spotlight will also look at the challenges these chairmen met on ground, how they are surmounting them, and the prospects for the remaining part of the tenure.
Readers are hereby enjoined to watch out for this series of spotlights because the essence of the report is to bring to the consciousness of Lagosians, the marks made in the various constituencies within the first 100 days in the life of the present administrative dispensation; it’s thus aimed at providing a platform for a better public judgement and appreciation, thereby bridging the informational gap between the government and the governed. It is also intended to form part of the materials for our readers when it is time to nominate their Chairman of the Year in our Excellence In Governance Awards (billed to debut next year).
We will begin publishing each spotlight from the third week of this month.
